Happy Thursday everyone! Our destination today is Hawaii. There are a few islands in Hawaii however, I will be taking you all to Oahu and Maui.
Oahu is the third largest among the Hawaiian islands and my top favorite one . Oahu is sometimes called the “Gathering Place” or the “Heart of Hawaii”. It’s the most famous Hawaiian island destination, with a very diverse population, a twist fusion of East and West cultures of Native Hawaiian people. Oahu is a very relaxed or laidback island for surfers but definitely with incredible city night life.
Activities varies from hiking, biking, snorkeling, sky diving, parasailing, surfing, boating, swimming with the sharks, horseback riding and many more. One activity that my daughter found amazing was swimming with the sharks. We both enjoyed parasailing over the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Priceless!
My second favorite island is Maui. If you’re looking for a more private and less populated destination, Maui would be the best island to go. Great beaches, more laidback and sun is definitely hotter than Oahu. The Maui Aquarium is definitely a not to miss place to visit in Maui. Surfing is one of the activities you can do in Maui of course.

Regardless, which island you decide to go in Hawaii, definitely renting a car is highly recommended to enjoy every island especially in Oahu. Aside from the beautiful sandy white beaches, Hawaii has beautiful and healthy rainforest. Driving around the island with green scenery is amazingly incredible experience that my daughter and I really enjoyed while visiting Hawaii.
When you visit Hawaii, make the most of it especially the beaches, rainforest and of course the Hawaiian food. Don’t miss the famous Hawaiian food the “Spam Musubi”. At least a week stay in Oahu to enjoy the island and maybe 2-3 days in Maui. The other islands are Kauai, Lanai, Molokai and the Island of Hawaii which is also known as the “Big Island”.
The Big Island is the youngest and biggest island among the Hawaiian islands. There are so much activities you can do and it is where the two massive volcanoes located; the Maunakea and Maunaloa. Definitely, it’s one Hawaiian destination that one should not miss. Although, I haven’t been there, it’s top on my bucket list too.
For now, I hope you enjoy our trip today. Cheers!
