I didn’t realize that I’d be doing a lot of baking for my blog. At first, I thought I’d be blogging more about my travels since I travel a lot more than I bake. Actually, I started baking more when the global lockdown was implemented due to the pandemic and international travels was totally stopped. If I have known that I’d be baking more, I should have published an article earlier on my blog about the benefits of having one good stand mixer in your kitchen to assist you with your baking journey just in case you are like myself who loves baking!

If you have the passion for baking, I would recommend to invest on a good stand mixer. Believe me, it’s totally worth your money, time and your back or your beautiful hands. It handles 95% of the kneading job for you. Why 95% only? It’s because there are some recipes that would definitely need your personal touch. There are a few different good brands available in the market depending on your budget and how serious you are with baking.

I myself, I love and enjoy baking a lot! I bake almost everyday as I don’t buy bread anymore. My family enjoys fresh and warm bread, cookies and cake. Definitely, my stand mixer is my second set of hands and it has been a great help to me. I love and really enjoy it. I would say that I never regret buying it because I know I’d need it to enjoy my passion for baking.

I suggest for you to do a serious research before buying it. Consider the size, color, quality, the power like watts or volts, features, benefits, model, possible attachments, versatility, price and of course customer reviews. Take your time shopping for the stand mixer, at the end you’ll be the one to benefit it. For some, color may not be important at all but for me it is because I see color to express one’s feelings like red means love or happy!

For me, a good stand mixer is just like investing on good stainless cooking pots for your kitchen. I have a set of pots that have been with my family for over 30 years even older than my children. So, this is what I am hoping for my stand mixer to last this long too…. Actually, my stand mixer is my second one which I purchased just over a month ago, same brand to replace my old one which I had for over 30 years.
